She's back again! And full of "Gefühle (Feelings)" - just like the title of her new album. The secretive green eyes are sparkling from under her long brown hair, giving a happy fairytale-like impression. There is a reason behind this look: Géraldine has become clearer with herself and the world around her, like never before. This inner happiness shines from her with overwhelming power. She once again has strength for a new chapter in her life. Strength, that she receives from her son Gregory, whom she loves above all else. Therefor it's logical that Géraldine now records songs that reflect her new life: "I wanted to make a record that fits perfectly to me and the changes that have occurred in my life."

Géraldine brought the best of her trade together for her Folks Music ("Vittoria dell'amore") to modern pop music ("Komm nach Paris"), Strauss-style waltzes ("Was kann schöner sein") and fiery, gypsy-like arrangements ("Die Nacht ist jung und wir sind frei"), and also for her modern pop ballads ("Wenn die Sonne Trauer trägt") and Dixie sounding music ("Sowieso und überhaupt"). This very personal music, specially selected for Géraldine, is brought together with the help of the successful composer Christian Bruhn. From his hand came the greatest hits of Mireille Mathieu, Daniela Simmons, Georg Wörle and... of course Géraldine Olivier herself. Juliane Werding is responsible for most of the text and is counted as one of the Superstars of German Schlager music. For hours, and weeks they sat together, working hard with each other and creating the music that comes across as if it were a part of Géraldine herself. The album producer, Atilla Sereftug, is also well known in the music industry, having personally worked with Celine Dion.

The songs from the new album, who appear through Dr. Hans Jöchler's VM Records Austria, are more intense and sensual than ever before. Géraldine has always dreamed of "having such wonderful music like Mireille Mathieu", her greatest idol. This dream has now come true. Géraldine's songs, sung from the heart, are sensitive, wistful, devoted, but still full of energy and drive - and best of all more expressive content. With her flowing and beautiful voice, the Swiss singer brings forth chills and goosepimples. She makes you dream, contemplate, and takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions, only in the next moment to dance zestfully in the sunlight.

The internation singing career of the picture perfect and likable Swiss singer began at 19 years old, as she represented her homeland as soloist of the Choir "La Chanson des 4 Saisons" at the World's Fair in Vancouver, Canada. At that time she was working on a Business Administration Manager training as secretary in the Bern Bundeshaus, the seat of the Swiss Government. She would be later sent to Japan as Ambassadorial Secretary. She landed of all places in Tokyo, thousands of kilometers from her home. There at a diplomatic reception of fellow countrymen she received her first contact with the professional Swiss music scene. In memory of the Land of the Rising Sun came the song "Soleil, Soleil", with which she won the 1992 Swiss pre-qualification for the "Grand Prix Eurovision". Three years later came her greatest breakthrough with the sentimental song "Nimm dir wieder einmal Zeit", which landed Géraldine her splendid win at the 1995 "Grand Prix der Volksmusik" in Vienna.

Occupationally Géraldine has fulfilled a lot of her dreams. In her private life she is currently clambering back up the way to the Peak of Happiness after being at an emotional low. This along with her beloved son Gregory, with whom she wants "to live through many wonderful moments." Not only her own child, but also children in general have grown on her heart. For this reason she continues to appear for projects like "Tour der Hoffnung" or "Aktion Telethon", to help care of sick children. "When just one child is healed and can laugh thanks for the money that I help to raise at the benefits events, then that is for me the greatest gift!"
